Carriage House Restoration

705 River Ave is getting a new life...hopefully..

The Carriage House, located at 705 River Ave in Historic Oakdene Place, was built at some point in the late 1800s. We don't know the exact year it was built. We don't know the history of the house.

When we bought it, we didn't even know if the toilets flushed...but we knew that this little place deserved some love. Our initial plan was to spend $10-$12 thousand dollars and update the house. However, the house needed a bit more time and attention. After a brand new roof, new plumbing, and new electrical systems, we knocked down walls, painted, tiled, and moved in!
